In sailing instruction 8.4:
Delete the words “towards Oriental Bay”.
In the description of marks, add a new description of mark 8:
Mark 8 will be a white buoy laid inside Evans Bay.
In the description of marks, update description of laid marks:
Replace: “Laid marks 1, 3, 4, 4P, and 4S will be white buoys”
with: “Laid marks 1, 4P, and 4S will be white buoys.”
Replace: “Marks 4S/4P may be laid above or below the race committee boat for courses 1-9.”
with: “Marks 4S/4P (courses 1-6) and mark 3 (courses 7-9) may be laid above or below the race committee boat.”
In the description of marks, update courses:
Replace course 5 with: Start – 3 – 4S/4P – 3 – Finish”
Replace course 6 with: Start – 3 – 4S/4P – 3 – 4S/4P – 3 – Finish”
In the description of marks, update description of finish line for harbour courses:
Replace: “FR”

Explanation:
The changes to SI 8.4 are to better reflect the Race Committee’s intentions.
The changes to attachment B correct typographical errors in the course descriptions. The Race Committee has published an updated course attachment (clearly marked as having been amended by this notice) which is available on the regatta website, the official notice board, and from the Race Office.
- NTC 7: Correction of warning signal time in sailing instructions

The first warning signal on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th March will be at 1025hrs.
This changes sailing instruction 5.1.
Explanation:
This change corrects an inconsistency between the sailing instructions and the notice of race.

Notice date: 2 March 2020
Safety requirements for Sports Boats are amended, having given consideration to the availability of support vessels, including a support vessel provided independently of the organising authority. The amount of insurance cover has been changed.
The Notice Of Race is amended as follows:
- NOR 1.2.c [safety regulations]:
NOR 1.2.c is deleted and replaced with: “For sports boats, Part VI, amended to include a waterproof VHF transceiver (or a VHF transceiver in a waterproof bag), one “Inshore Kit” (as described in YNZ Safety Regulations Appendix 1). In addition, YNZ Safety Regulations Part V paragraphs 2.1-2.4 will apply.” - NOR 1.2.f [safety regulations] A new NOR 1.2.f is added as follows: “Sports Boats may compete without an engine with the prior express permission of the organising authority. A decision to give or not give permission will not be grounds for redress. This changes RRS 62.1(a).”
- NOR 28 [Insurance]
“$2,000,000” is removed and replaced by “$250,000” in NOR 28.

- NTC 3: Extension of entry time

Notice date: 1 March 2020
Entries are open until 5:00pm Wednesday 4 March 2020, and Late Entry will take effect after that time.
NTC #1 replaced “Monday 24 February” with “Saturday 29 February” in clauses 3.5, 3.7, 4.1 and 4.2 of the Notice of Race. This NTC replaces “Saturday 29 February” with “1700 hours Wednesday 4 March in clauses 3.5, 3.7, 4.1 and 4.2 of the Notice of Race.
The purpose of this change is to provide additional time and opportunity for crew to enter with no additional cost. Late Entry will now apply from 1700 Wednesday 4 March 2020.
- NTC 2: Change to sport boat racing programme

Notice Date: 29 February 2020
Sports Boats (Division F) will race only on Saturday and Sunday. Sports Boats will not race on Friday.
A number of changes are made to the Notice of Race to give effect to this change, including the number of races scheduled, entry fees for boats and crew, the requirement to attend the briefing, and time for registration.
Where applicable, the organising authority will refund Sports Boat entries (boats or crew) the difference between required entry fees and fees paid.
The Notice Of Race is amended as follows:
- NOR 3.2 [Eligibility and Entry]:
“Sports Boats” is removed from Programme One and “Sports Boats” is added to Programme Two in the table under NOR 3.2. - NOR 4.1 [Entry Fees]:
“Sports Boats” is removed the FULL column and “Sports Boats” is added to THE WEEKENDER column in the table specifying Entry Fees for yachts and competitors/crew under NOR 4.1. - NOR 5.1 [Schedule – Registration]:
NOR 5.1 is deleted and replaced with:
“Registration will be at RPNYC on Thursday 5 March 2020 between 1500 and 1830 hours and on Friday 6 March 2020 between 1700 and 1900 hours. Boats must be registered before their first warning signal. Boats may nominate a representative to register on their behalf.” - NOR 5.3 [Schedule – Briefing]:
“or Sports Boats” is removed from NOR 5.3. - NOR 5.4 [Schedule – Races]:
In the table referred to in NOR 5.4 the row for Division F (Sports Boats) is removed and replaced with 8 Races (max) over Saturday and Sunday.

The effect of this change is to extend the time for entries. Late Entry will now apply from Sunday 1 March 2020.
