Regatta Opening Dinner and Guest Speaker

The Port Nicholson Regatta will feature a formal Regatta Dinner for skippers, with a special guest speaker. We are honoured that Rod Davis (Olympic and America’s Cup legend) will be joining us to share his unique insights and experience on a sport we enjoy so much.  You can read a brief bio on Rod and his talk on the guest speaker page.

Get your ticket! All Race Entries received before 3rd December 2017 will receive a complimentary ticket to the Regatta Dinner with Rod Davis. Additional tickets will be made available for purchase after 1 December 2017.

Clyde Quay Entertainment

In addition to the fantastic racing programme being planned this year, RPNYC and the Wellington Ocean Sports centre (next to Freyberg Pool) will make equipment such as Stand Up Paddle boards, and potentially small sailing dinghies (e.g. optimists), and radio controlled model yachts available for use.
This is sure to provide some post-race amusement for skippers and crew!

The Club Wardroom will be open and coffee will be available from early each morning. Breakfast options are being explored and will be publicised when confirmed.
Pre-packed lunches will be available for order each day. Details will be confirmed later.
